When a Secret Menu item is really good to be kept a secret any longer, it comes to the main menu as the fan-favorite. Just like the Serious Strawberry Frappuccino of Starbucks. More than just a frap with a bit of strawberry syrup, it is a blend of tasty ingredients with a bit of hint of floral flavors.
Even if you don’t like the strawberry-flavored drinks, this one especially is an exception worth checking out. We will explain why in the following Serious Strawberry Frappuccino review.
Frappuccinos are a few of the most well-liked drinks at Starbucks’, and those of us who like them cannot get enough of the variations available in the flavor. Starbucks acquaints that, so they keep on working out new recipes and seeing how much we like them. Honestly, I have not found a frap I did not like.
The Serious Strawberry Frappuccino was on the Secret Menu that shifted up to the Starbucks main menu as Starbucks started re-working its Strawberries and Crème Frappuccino, another pink drink. It officially came to the ranks of the chain’s other brightly-colored drinks all over the country in June 2018.
Serious Strawberry Frappuccino Types:
Stateside, you can get it with its name, a Serious Strawberry Frappuccino, and the barista will whip it up. For ordering it outside of the United States, you need to ask for just the Strawberry Frappuccino but with sweet vanilla cream in place of milk.
It’d be great if you also go for the strawberry puree at the bottom of your cup. Then drink ought to be garnished with the whipped cream and strawberry drizzle. I know it because I tried to get one in Mexico, and we then had to take some help from Google to figure it out.
Serious Strawberry Frappuccino Review:
The Serious Strawberry Frappuccino is very tasty, layered with strawberry puree swirls, mixed with Starbucks’ reinvented Crème and Strawberries Frappuccino (a blend of milk, ice, and the strawberry concoction blend). It is then garnished with vanilla whipped cream and strawberry puree.
Texture & Taste:
This fantastic new flavor is just astonishing. I anticipated it to taste like the vanilla frap with some syrupy strawberry favors, but it was, in fact, more than that. The strawberry puree really tastes fresh and real, and there is a floral botanical flavor in its aftertaste that was quite interesting and pleasant. Because this frap is layered, you get diverse sweetness levels.
A sip with more white frap provides you light and creamy tart flavor, while the ones with more strawberries are packed with even more fruity flavors. It is diverse from the re-vamped Crème and Strawberry Frappuccino in that it looks layered and marbled, whereas the old version is the all-pink drink. The vanilla whipped cream is added to this classic combo of cream and berries.
Are They Healthy?
Because this strawberry drink is caffeine-free and fruit-infused, it is awesome for children and the younger fan crowd of Starbucks. If you like to skip dairy, you can get it with any of the substitute types of milk Starbucks provides, comprising coconut, almond, and soy milk, added in 2015. A Grande Serious Strawberry Frappuccino has about fifty grams of sugar, fourteen grams of fat, and 350 calories, according to Starbucks.
Contemplating that you could have a healthy meal (like the fast-food chicken salad) for around 350 calories, it does seem a little high; but, as a drink every so often, why not? The sugar content is very high, so if you are getting it for children, make certain they’ve open spaces for running around and burning all that energy off. I would not suggest it for your road trip.
Are They Worth It?
I have just had this treat one time, but my children really like it. It is a tasty mix of creamy and fruity flavors, reminiscent of that strawberry ice cream but better. There’s no caffeine but real fruit, making it the best option for all my little ones. The cost is a little steep when I need to buy for all three children, but it is absolutely worth it as a special drink.
You may be astonished by the flavors’ quality in this treat. I used to get my Caramel Macchiatos with two pumps of raspberry, but I stopped because it actually tasted more like the artificial flavoring. The Serious Strawberry Frappuccino doesn’t have the same flavoring. It is real strawberry puree with seeds and real strawberries, and it is an extremely fresh summer treat.

Serious Strawberry Frappuccino Pricing:
The cost differs a little according to the location, but Serious Strawberry Frappuccino at Starbucks costs between 4.95 dollars and 5.45 dollars for a grande size, just a little more than a Mocha Frappuccino. It is right in line with the costs of other fraps available at Starbucks as well.
